What else to sip your locally made ale/apple juice/cider out of than a hand-thrown, commemorative Septembersong tankard by Lucy Young Ceramics!? Lucy grew up in the Forest of Dean where her father, established potter Alistair Young, set up a pottery. Having completed a degree in Fine Art Painting at Winchester School of Art and after a career as a teacher, Lucy trained as a production potter at Whichford Pottery in the Cotswolds. She now owns her own business, Lucy Young Ceramics, where she creates high-quality, hand-thrown pottery in Cheltenham, specialising in designing and making personalised tankards for craft breweries. We are so pleased that Lucy has made bespoke tankards for Septembersong which will be available in advance on our website (with a free pint of course!) or at the festival while supplies last.
